Strengthening Black Businesses

The BAIDS program enlists seasoned experts across a wide variety of professional categories to deliver services and mentor program participants. These highly qualified professionals work directly with BAIDS clients to provide essential services, education, evaluations and impact studies. Measurement and reporting ensure that our service provider’s efforts align with the BAIDS Program’s outcomes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

We acknowledge the support of the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.

BAIDS will provide program participants with services in the following areas:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

To maintain accurate records of financial transactions in an orderly manner requires detailed and accurate recordkeeping and reporting. This service involves preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow statements.

Taxation

This service deals with the preparations of tax returns and tax payments. It includes GST/HST, annual business returns and CRA requirements.

Business Planning and Budgeting

You’ll develop a strategic roadmap to guide and leverage your business through this service offering. It provides a market analysis, marketing plan, competitive analysis and financial planning. In addition, the service provider will help you identify your revenue stream and pricing model.
